Since March 2025, I have also been keeping 1.2 Elaphe dione of the Vladivostok variety.
The Elaphe dione is a curious, small, diurnal snake. It is generally very tame and easy to keep.
The most important thing to consider with this snake species is hibernation. It should definitely last for about 3-4 months. A comparatively low temperature of approximately 8-4°C is important.
